Announcing a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction series
for fall 2023
Beginning September 11th
A free information session before the course is on September 8th from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
What: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) helps us navigate the normal ups and downs of life through meditation and daily life practices. This brings more stability, peace, and joy, even in the midst of difficulty. It just takes practice but does take practice. An MBSR course is an excellent way to do this with support in a beautiful environment.
Classes include yoga, qigong, various mindfulness meditations, discussion, and daily life mindfulness practices. No previous yoga or qigong experience is necessary. Mindful movement is very gentle and can be modified to be accessible for everyone.
When: Classes will meet eight consecutive Monday mornings, 10:00 to 12:30, September 11th through October 30th. There will be an additional day of practice Saturday, October 28th from 9:30 to 3:30.
Where: In person at Crow's End Retreat in Squire Canyon
Instructor: Mick Malotte
Tuition: The fee for this course is $300 for new participants, $150 for returning participants. If cost is a barrier please speak with the instructor to set your own fee. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Vaccination: You must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and have no symptoms in order to attend these sessions.
