Announcing a new Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction series
Beginning January 21st
A free information session before the course is on January 7th from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
What: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction helps people use their own internal resources to respond more skillfully to stress, physical and psychological conditions. This allows us to live with more peace and joy in the midst of the ups and downs of daily life.
Classes include yoga, various mindfulness meditations, discussion, and daily life mindfulness practices. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Mindful yoga is very gentle and can be modified to be accessible for nearly everyone.
When: Classes will meet Friday mornings 9:30 to 12:00 for 8 consecutive weeks January 21st through March 11th. In addition there will be a daylong session Saturday February 26th.
Instructor: Mick Malotte
Tuition: The fee for this course is $300 for new participants, $150 for returning participants. Given current financial challenges, if cost is a barrier please speak with the instructor. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Vaccination: You must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and have no symptoms in order to attend these sessions.
