Announcing a new Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction series
Beginning September 18th
A free information session before the course is on September 4th from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
What: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction helps people use their own internal resources to respond more skillfully to stress, physical and psychological conditions. This allows us to live with more peace and joy in the midst of the ups and downs of daily life.
Classes include yoga, various mindfulness meditations, discussion, and daily life mindfulness practices. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Mindful yoga is very gentle and can be modified to be accessible for nearly everyone.
When: Classes will meet Saturday mornings 9:30 to 12:00 for 8 consecutive weeks starting September 18th (the 6th session on Sept. 23rd will be a bit longer, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm).
Where: In Avila Village at the White Heron Sangha meditation center, 6615 Bay Laurel Place.
Instructor: Mick Malotte
Tuition: The fee for this course is $300 for new participants, $150 for returning participants. Given current financial challenges, if cost is a barrier please speak with the instructor. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Vaccination: You must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and have no symptoms in order to attend these sessions.
To request an application, attend the information session, or if any questions, send a message below or email Mick at email@example.com.
