Announcing a new Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction series
Beginning August 19th
A free information session before the course is on August 15th from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
What: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction helps people use their own internal resources to respond more skillfully to stress, physical and psychological conditions. This allows us to live with more peace and joy in the midst of the ups and downs of daily life.
Classes include yoga, qigong, various mindfulness meditations, discussion, and daily life mindfulness practices. No previous yoga or qigong experience is necessary. Mindful movement is very gentle and can be modified to be accessible for nearly everyone.
When: Classes will meet Friday mornings 9:30 to 12:00 for 8 consecutive weeks August 19th through October 7th. In addition there will be a daylong session Saturday September 24th 9:30 to 3:30.
Where: In person at Crow's End Retreat in Squire Canyon
Instructor: Mick Malotte
Tuition: The fee for this course is $300 for new participants, $150 for returning participants. If cost is a barrier please speak with the instructor to set your own fee. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Vaccination: You must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and have no symptoms in order to attend these sessions.
